In its ongoing efforts to promote and encourage San Mateo County artists, the San Mateo County Arts Commission exhibits visual art works within the public service areas of two San Mateo County government buildings. The County has hosted art exhibits in these buildings for over ten years.
The Caldwell and Community Galleries, located on the first and lower floor levels of 400 County Center, Redwood City, have hanging systems for two-dimensional art.
The Rotunda Gallery, located on the first floor of 555 County Center, Redwood City, exhibits three-dimensional art.
The galleries are open to the public during normal business hours, typically Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
