The County of San Mateo RecycleWorks Program is offering courses to residents, employees and business owners in San Mateo County as part of a new program called the RecycleWorks Volunteer Academy.  These courses will provide volunteers with the knowledge about conserving resources so they can promote environmental awareness where they live or work in San Mateo County.

Participants attending a RecycleWorks Volunteer Academy course will be asked to complete volunteer time in their community teaching about resource conservation.  They'll also earn a certificate of completion after fulfilling the course's volunteer requirements.  The courses are a great way for you to learn, give back to your community, make new friends and build your resume.

Please contact Erin McNichol, our RecycleWorks Volunteer Academy coordinator, at RecycleWorks@smcgov.org or 650-599-1498.  You must be 14 years or older to attend the class.
